Rehabilitation and Therapy
People trust us with their rehabilitation needs. They know there’s no better place to get back on their feet following a hospitalization, surgery, or acute medical event.
Monterey offers both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. You can receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy all on one convenient, modern campus. We work with you to create goals and a personalized treatment plan so you can get back to your best health as soon as possible.
Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care
Long-term care residents in our southwestern Columbus community receive the support they need with activities of daily living while enjoying a wide variety of services and amenities.
At Monterey, we practice person-centered care. That means when your loved one chooses to reside with us for long-term care or skilled nursing, we take the time to get to know them and create a care plan that’s tailored to their unique needs.

An enclosed courtyard provides security while social engagement promotes emotional support. Our compassionate staff members understand the unique needs of residents experiencing memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia.
Respite Care
Respite care can be defined as a short-term stay for a loved one to allow a respite, or recovery time, for the caregiver. Some of the reasons a caregiver might seek a respite care stay for their loved one include a planned surgery, vacation, or needed time to manage their stress and personal health and well-being.
Monterey offers short-term stays that can vary from a few days to a few weeks. We provide furnished respite suites with access to a nursing team 24 hours a day, which includes a personalized plan of care.
Respite-stay guests at Monterey receive the same patient-directed care as our residents. This includes a compassionate interdisciplinary team that ensures their individual needs are met as well as access to numerous services, activities, and amenities.

Hospice Care

Dining Services
Meals provide sustenance on many levels — physical, social, and emotional. From enjoying a favorite comfort food to eating with friends, dining at Monterey is an important part of life here.
To provide the same flexibility you’re used to at home, we offer communal meals in dining rooms as well as room service, a beverage cart, snacks, guest meals, and coffee service. We have seasonal, bistro, and heart-healthy menus to meet all needs and tastes.
We make sure our food is just as healthy as it is delicious through registered and licensed dietitians who work with our dining services manager to ensure specialized meals are served. Optimal nutrition is achieved by serving regular or minimally restricted diets that allow for resident choice, determined by the person and in accordance with his/her informed choices, goals, and preferences, rather than exclusively by diagnosis.
