In addition, a dynamic memory care community offers both programming and structure in a secure unit. Therapy services – including physical, occupational, and speech, are available in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Hospice care and respite stays are also available.

Our Care Services
Rehabilitation and Therapy
Inpatient rehab and therapy services are available at Abbyshire Place for residents who require intensive rehabilitation following a hospitalization, surgery, or an acute medical event. The goal of inpatient rehab is to improve physical function, mobility, and independence.
Outpatient rehab and therapy services are also available at Abbyshire Place for residents who do not require 24-hour care. Outpatient services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help individuals regain their strength, mobility, and communication skills.
Skilled Nursing/Long-Term Care
For residents who require more intensive care, long-term care is available at Abbyshire Place. Skilled nursing and long-term care provides 24-hour nursing care, monitoring, and rehabilitation services for individuals with chronic health conditions or recovering from a serious illness or surgery. Our specialized services include pain management and wound care.
Memory Care
Abbyshire Place also offers memory care services for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. The specialized program includes structured activities and care that focus on maintaining cognitive function and preserving dignity and quality of life.
Respite Care
Respite care offers care for your loved one in a safe, secure setting for a temporary period of time. Respite care provides an opportunity for you, as the caregiver, to take a break from your caregiving responsibilities, recharge, and attend to your own personal needs.
Our respite guests experience the same level of care as our residents and can participate fully in the activities and events at our community. Respite care can also be a good way to try out a skilled nursing setting to see if it’s a good fit for your loved one.
Hospice Care
Abbyshire Place’s signature end-of-life care allows residents to experience their final days with peace of mind and dignity. Our skilled medical professionals understand that a dignified passing is an elemental part of a good life. Managed Care
Managed care is a system of healthcare services that aims to improve the quality of care while reducing healthcare costs. Abbyshire Place works with managed care organizations to coordinate and provide healthcare services to residents, ensuring they receive the appropriate care at the right time and in the most cost-effective manner.

Dining Services
Dining at Abbyshire Place features delicious, chef-prepared meals and resident-directed menu items. Our dining services team focuses on two primary goals: selection and enjoyment. We also have registered and licensed dietitians who work with residents to create therapeutic diets that allow for resident choice.
Residents are offered flexibility through multiple dining locations and times. For special occasions, residents can host guests in the dining room. Guests are always welcome to dine with residents in the main dining room as well. Room service is available upon request.
